I opened a Connect session to share my screen with a student.

I used Safari and got the security block to which I applied the recommended settings but still no joy.

Now I can log into my meetings and do anything accept share my screen.

When I attempt to share my screen I get a warning that the Adobe Connect quit unexepectedly.

I have tried unistalling and reinstalling the Flash Player and I have looked for the Adobe Connect addin app but I cannot find it to remove or replace it.

Analysis of the crash report points to a common issue which may be causing the Addin to crash on some of the old Mac machines (around 2006-2007 models).

This is under investigation and we are looking for a solution to this.

It would be better if you could filter that audio recording in real-time.

The solution comes through Soundflower and Audio Hijack Pro.

In AHP, this can be done conveniently via Install Extras from its program menu.

Note: as a shortcut to the audio settings, type Optionone of the three volume keys.

That way, the mono microphone will be heard on both the left and the right speaker in your headphones and recording.

I like to use a noise gate filter to remove background noise and a little bit of reverb.

I find it too distracting to be useful.).

Using latency-free monitoring you will hear the raw audio, not the filtered signal.

To monitor the filtered signal, you can add an an Auxiliary Device Output to AHPs Effects patch and set it up to route the audio to your audio interface (This will add a tiny bit of delay, but I find it not distracting).

When recording your movie, Audio Hijack will capture your microphone input, pass the signal through your audio filters and then pass it on to Soundflower.

The microphone sound will be provided by the Soundflower channel, because that is how we set it up in the system preferences.

SnapzProX in turn will take that microphone sound and record it with your movie.

Soundflower does not show up as an input device in the audio preference settings.

Note also, that it does not require a restart as the latest version.
